VISION
HISTORY
Pastor William A. Davis was born to minister. Since it was his standard method of greeting and daily way of living, no one would be surprised if they were told that the first words he ever uttered were "Praise the Lord." He founded Deeper Life Pentecostal Church along with First Lady Christine Davis on January 18, 1981. In the pulpit, he was full of fervor and intensity, but tenderness and concern characterized his interactions with his church family. Even when he became ill himself, parishioners recall him visiting them in the hospital and offering to be of service any way that he could. Pastor Davis passed away on September 13, 2016, and even though Pastor Dupree is now at the helm, the church continues to revere him for his compassion and stewardship.

VALUES
One's commitment to Christ is the most important vow one can take. The church strives to strengthen that bond and to lead others to salvation. Congregants seek to magnify Him in all their ways. By uplifting Him, they hope to enhance individual lives, to fortify families, and to transform our community.
VISION
Our vision is dictated by both
Ephesians 6:6 and Matthew 4:19:
"As the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart ...," we will be "fishers of men."
